EveryChild India Child Protection Policy and Procedures

The present Child Protection policy is approved and endorsed by the Senior Management team of EveryChild India. It applies to all employees, partners, consultants, donors, sponsors, volunteers, interns and visitors to EveryChild India. The present policy covers all children whom the organisation comes in contact with or implements its programme activities with.

EveryChild is an international development charity fighting to protect some of the world’s most vulnerable children without parental care or at risk of losing parental care. It works in Africa, Asia, Eastern Europe, South America and the Caribbean. In India, EveryChild has been supporting programmes and partners based in Karnataka and Tamil Nadu on the issue of most marginalized children without parental care or at risk of losing parental care-who are trafficked/at risk of being trafficked for commercial sexual exploitation (CSE) and forced labour including domestic workers and children who are living on the streets.

EveryChild believes that all children have the right to grow up in a safe and loving family environment, with a secure future. Working with local partners across Karnataka and Tamil Nadu, EveryChild India’s mission is to protect children in danger of ending up on their own by keeping families together; getting children back to a safe and caring family, wherever it is possible; ensure children’s right to go to school, play, participate and realise their full potential.
