Chandramouleswara began his career in the banking and insurance sector in 1992. For the past eighteen years he has rich experience of working with both the corporate sector and the development sector. After the initial years of working with the corporate sector, in 1998 he joined an international organisation Norwegian Church Aid, South Asia office as Finance Officer. He was responsible for managing the partner accounts in the South Asian region namely Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal and India. In 2006, he joined EveryChild India as the Finance and Administration Manager. His contribution to the organisation has been invaluable. With a smile and ease, he has been deftly managing partner accounts and organisation administration. Mouli, as he is fondly called, completed his bachelor’s degree in commerce and law from Mysore University. Taking his experience in the banking sector forward, Mouli started the initiative of involving his family members in developing and running a family bank. In his free time he loves to cook and has organized many community functions where he has cooked for more than hundred people.
Medini began her work as an accountant in 1992. After completing her Bachelors in Commerce from Andhra Pradesh University, she procured a Diploma in Accounts and began working with a Chartered Accountant to learn the ropes of her profession. For the past fifteen years she has worked with Chartered Accountants, companies and NGOs in handling company and organisation’s accounts. In 2003, she joined the Accounts team of Partners in Child Development, an EveryChild partner. In 2004, she joined EveryChild India as the Head Office Accountant. Since then she has been managing the organisation’s accounts and streamlining into handling the organisation’s partners project accounts. Having been with EveryChild India since its inception, Medini has seen the organisation grow from infancy into adulthood. A mother of two, Medini loves to play with her children and make handicrafts items in her free time.

Always willing to walk or drive the extra mile, Thisai has been driving for the last seventeen years. He has worked with the organisations like New Entity for Social Action, Oxfam. After acquiring his driving license in 1990 Thisai realized his love for driving and acquired professional driving training. He joined EveryChild India in 2004 and ever since he has been an integral part of EveryChild India Team and has traveled with the team to visit the organisation’s partners in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh. Never hesitating to drive during the day or at night, Thisai’s support to the organisation has been invaluable. Thisai dotes on his five year old son Joshua and keeps himself updated with world news through the internet in his free time.

Arati has been working with EveryChild India since 2007. Before joining the organisation she completed her Nursery Training Teachers Course and taught Gram Panchayat members how to read and write Kannada. Currently she is pursuing her bachelors in Sociology from Bangalore University. In EveryChild India Arti provides administrative support to the organisation and manages the front office. In 2006, she was a part of the team which collected data from districts in Northern Karnataka for a study on orphan children commissioned by EveryChild India. At present she is learning web designing and learning to read and write English.

Kasthuri has been working with EveryChild India since 2003. When she joined the organisation as an Office Support and Maintenance staff, Kasthuri used to speak and understand only Tamil language. She has now learnt to talk in Kannada and English. Other than her routine work of Office upkeep, she also assists the team in Sponsor Relations work. She answers phone calls; goes out to pay the bills and run errands to the post office and bank. After learning to browse the Internet, she now regularly reads the Tamil Websites. At present she is keen to learn reading and writing in English. Kasthuri lives with her three children who are all studying in the primary school. Sometimes, it is a delight to see her break into a song and dance while working.

Leading the Programs Unit at EveryChild India, Asha Zechariah brings in a fresh perspective and energy into the team. She began her work in the development sector with a brief stint at Helpage India and moved on to AIFO, an Italian funding agency supporting programs for marginalised children and people with disability. The past four and half years were spent working with Child Rights and You, Bangalore. CRY works towards restoring rights of children by enabling community mobilisation through different partners. Asha has experience of working with several Dalit movements in Karnataka and has also been actively involved in formulating campaigns on disability rights. She strongly believes that her commitment, motivation and learning has evolved only through her experiences of working with communities and various peoples organisations. She has a bachelors degree in Science from Pune University and a Masters Degree in Social Work from Bombay University. She spends most of her leisure time with friends or reading and travelling.
Guruprasad has been working in the development sector for the past seven years on child rights issues. After completing his Masters in Social work from Bangalore University, he started working with MelJol, discussing child rights with young school children in Bangalore. Subsequently, he joined the Public Affairs Centre and was a part of the Citizen Action Team. During that time, he was actively involved in the child rights campaign for civic awareness. He joined EveryChild in 2006 as a Program Officer. He began working on the psycho-social care and education programme for children affected by the tsunami in 35 villages in Tamil Nadu. At present he is actively involved in the organization’s projects in Tamil Nadu and Northern Karnataka. In his free time Guru likes to go trekking to far off places.
After completing his Graduation in Science, Somasekhar went on to complete his Post Graduation in Physics from Gulbarga University in Karnataka. He joined the development sector in 2001 and started working with Samaj Parivarthan Samudaya in Dharwad, Karnataka on community development and forest management issues. Later he worked with organisations working on HIV and AIDS and focussed on care and support for families living with HIV and AIDS. Somsekhar joined EveryChild in 2008 as a Program Co-ordinator. He is currently responsible for managing the EveryChild Bidugade Programme in North Karnataka. For many years now Somasekhar has been an active supporter of Dalit rights and member of people's movement in India.His interests include reading and learning new skills.
Payal Saksena is a human rights lawyer. For the past seven years she has worked on gender and law issues with specific focus on violence against women. Payal has worked with both regional and International organisations women rights organisations such as Lawyers Collective, Women Power Connect and Global Rights. She began her career as a legal aid lawyer for women and ever since has used law as a tool for social change through human rights litigation, advocacy, campaigns and lobbying on women and children's issues. Her long years of experience in the women's rights movement has motivated her to further explore child rights issues. She joined EveryChild India as the Advocacy and Communications Manager with a vision to strengthen the communication and advocacy initiatives of the organisation. She firmly believes that working with EveryChild will enhance her experience on issues of marginalisation, vulnerability and discrimination of children. Payal has a Bacherlors degree in English Literature and Law from Delhi University and post graduate specialization in Human Rights Law from Indian Society of International Law. In her free time Payal loves to write poems and travel to new places.

Priscilla has been working with EveryChild India 2003 at a time when the organisation was undergoing a transition. Being a graduate in Commerce, Priscilla joined the organization as a secretary to the Director and the Programme Manager. Two years later, she was promoted and became a Programme Associate. She became actively involved in the organization’s field activities more specifically in EveryChild’s Tsunami Response Programme in 2004. At that time, she worked with the Programme Department and traveled extensively to the projects areas. Recently, in 2006, she shifted her focus from EveryChild India’s Programme Department to the organisation’s Sponsor Relations Department. She is currently working as a Sponsor Relations Coordinator with EveryChild India. Priscilla’s free time is spent with her daughter Deborah and in trying out new recipes.

As Country Director, Sriramappa oversees all activities at EveryChild from policy to finance. His experience includes senior management positions in non-profit organizations and foundations. He was director of Oxfam India for over 4 years including the difficult times following the super-cyclone and worked with Oxfam in different parts of India for last 15 years. Prior to joining Oxfam he worked at grass root level with MYRADA a well known Bangalore based organisation working in different parts of South India. He is also the managing trustee of Swaraj foundation that works towards realising Mahatma Gandhi’s dream of Gram Swaraj especially in the context of management of critical water resources by communities. The foundation is also working to find answers to the deep rooted problems like farmers’ suicides. He is an Agricultural Engineer from IIT, Kharagpur and did his post graduate studies at the Institute of Rural Management, Anand (IRMA).
Jyothi joined the Sponsor Relations Department in EveryChild in 2009. After completing her Masters in Life Sciences in 2008 from Bangalore University, she worked as a Technical Editor with the MacMillan Group for a brief period. She has also been involved in short-term environment related projects. Her key work responsibilities in EveryChild ranges from coordinating the Sponsor Relations; maintaining children’s database across projects and ensure smooth flow of communication with the Sponsors. Apart from her work, she is has a keen interest in wild life photography and keeps herself updated with what’s new on Discovery Channel.
