Most of the target families are landless and low and marginal landholders and are depending on daily agriculture labour work for their livelihood. The wage rate is very low and there is inequality of wages for men and women. The Project aims to work for the socio-economic empowerment of the target group. Initially it began by concentrating on women empowerment, elimination of child labour, prevention of dedication of young girls for Devadasi system, preventing of trafficking of girl children to urban markets, making the drop out children free villages, educate women about HIV/Aids, reduce migration. The organisation helps community to know the child & women rights and facilitate them to eliminate child labour, devadasi system and gives importance for the children’s education.
